Summary
"Robert. You've been hit with a power that causes persistent heightened anxiety." Blazer cuts to the chase, keeping her voice carefully calm and measured.
There's a reason why she's there with the amulet and why visitors were restricted to only her and Chase.
Robert, on a good day outside the suit, was a force to be reckoned with. She doesn't want to think about what he's capable of when he's operating on the constant heightened panic of a cornered animal.
---
Or the fic where I give Robert a seven day long panic attack and Turbo Anxiety and force Flambae to lock him in his apartment to keep an eye on him wrow.

Summary
"What?" Robert is too tequila-soaked and, consequently, flammable for this right now. "What are you talking about?"
"Ooh, I don't know, Bob-Bob." Fire shimmers over the tips of eight digits. "Maybe the fun little fact that you're fucking Mecha Man??"
Oh. Oh shit.
*
In which Flambae finds out Robert is Mecha Man while fighting alongside him against Shroud, and Robert has to take him on a date about it.

Summary
in which Flambae has a morbid fascination with the only man he knows that'd unironically enjoy drinking a Super-Sized Dulce de Leche extra-sweet, extra-whip, extra-crunch, quadruple-espresso-shot Latte. In one sitting.

Kadir hadn't been lying when he’d said Robert Robertson the fucking Third wasnt his damn type. Not that he was put off by twinks --he’s had his fair few, but compared to the dispatcher he usually preferred his men prettier, more muscular, more pliant . . more eager. But, Rob-Bob, unfortunately . . . had this way about him, some strange sort of pull in the dip of his voice and tilt of his head and hood of his rounded doe’s-eyes when he talked to you with his full attention. Like it was some precious commodity. However oblivious he was or wasn’t, it made people circle around him, like he had his own gravity. It made them stupid. And Kadir was being stupid. Honestly, straight up, not-even-Robert’s-fault stupid. Standing here, with a slow-melting iced-caffeine-monstrosity balanced on the palm of his hand, fingers making the least contact possible with the sides.

Summary
The reasonable thing to do when you get flung three years into the past would be to sit down and think things through - make a plan.
Fuck that noise - the Z-Team doesn't make plans. They have one (1) future dispatcher and current
disasterhero to find and bully into taking care of himself and one (1) statistics-obsessed, jackass supervillain to murder and leave in a convenient ditch. Easy, straight forward - no problem.Robert would really appreciate it if someone would explain to him what the hell is going on.
