When Peter B Parker enters the collider again to return to his own dimension, he’s dumped out a week into the future, but still in Miles’ universe. Repeated attempts to return home only speed up the damage done to his body by the glitches, and leave him stranded 2 years in the future. Enter Deadpool, who’s seen a lot of versions of Spider-Man, but never one so in need of a friend. He vows to save Peter’s life, whether he likes it or not. Spider-Man has been acting weird lately. Most people wouldn’t notice, but Wade always pays more attention than people realize. It was trained into him so thoroughly that it comes as easily as breathing. And okay yeah, he pays extra special attention to his favorite hero/partner in fighting crime. Sue him. But seriously, Spidey has just not been himself. He’s been distracted and agitated, leading to him being a bit sloppy in fights. He shouldn’t be bleeding right now, they weren’t fighting a supervillain or anything like that. Just a wimpy group of bank robbers. They didn’t even have any powers or fancy tech, just plain ol’ guns. And Spidey should’ve been able to dodge that bullet.

Spider-Man and Deadpool patrol together, but have no idea who the other is underneath the mask.
Peter and Wade somehow end up becoming fuck buddies so Peter can get the stress beat out of him (consensually).

Spidey hadn’t made it to patrol since getting that text message. As much as Wade valued their time together, he could understand that sometimes, too much Deadpool left a really bad aftertaste in one’s mouth. It had been a perfectly reasonable assumption that the webslinger was doing his own thing on the opposite side of the city, and he’d come crawling back to Wade when he needed a good laugh or a midnight meal, or both.
Wade should have questioned that logic. Three days wasn’t a long time to take a break from someone like Deadpool, but it was a long time to be missing.
There was a small, folded-up square of paper alongside the costume. Wade felt like he was cracking open a fortune cookie, only instead of some vague shit that applied to everyone and no one at the same time, it was two words scribbled in thick sharpie.
‘FIND ME’.
