Summary
Between nightmares that were returning memories Kaguya would give anything to forget, and a strong likelihood that she would have to die to reunite the Heart Shards with the Heart leave the Earth Dancer deeply regretting confessing her feelings to Cuilang a few weeks ago.
After running through a freak ice storm together on a joint metal ore run deep into Autumn, Cuilang insists she spend the night at his place rather than her open, poorly insulated Dragon Shrine. Oh course, she has a nightmare that night, and later in passing mentions the “purple-eyed shadow monster” who saved her instead of killing her to Cuilang.
After a confrontation with the gods after performing Dance of the Seer, Kaguya is thrown into reliving all her worst memories of her time in captivity, from torture and rape to suicide attempts and sacrifice.
She’s had to suffer through them before: sometimes Woolby is there to help, but more often, she finds somewhere to hide outside the villages and suffers through them alone.
This time, at least, she isn’t alone.

Summary
Cuilang didn’t need system reminders to know he was neglecting his maintenance.
Subaru would kill him if he knew—then painstakingly tend to his maintenance himself and restore his power, probably. Cuilang did not want to burden him with this, so he had done everything he could to ensure the Earth Dancer remained unaware. It was easy, since he had no experience maintaining machines and thus had no frame of reference to compare to.
Cuilang wasn’t trying to break down. Nor was he enjoying all of the system warnings. It was just that since he’d married Subaru, he couldn’t stand to do the tasks that reminded him of the gulf of differences between his body and a real human’s.

Kaguya notices the way Cuilang shies away when his mechanical side comes to light. She'll do whatever it takes to get through to him, even if showing such a vulnerable side of herself frightens her.
