Les êtres humains sont des créatures étranges, facilement influencés par de belles apparences, telles des abeilles attirées par le miel. Les laids sont toujours placés dans la catégories des visages que l’on oublie, les rebuts dont il faut se moquer ou qui ne sont mémorables que dans les cauchemars. Mais les beaux, eux ? Porte ouverte, richesse, prétendant, encensement et facilité. Comme si le visage avec lequel vous êtes né était votre première réussite ou votre premier échec. Suite à cette constatation, une famille émigrée d’une contrée froide décida que cette fatalité ne s’appliquerait pas à eux.
Contrairement au reste du monde, les Parkinson ont choisi.

Summary
Three years have passed since the last time Celegorm caught sight of his cousin Aredhel at the edge of Nan Elmoth, and fearing something ill has befallen her, he goes to investigate. Within the forest he does not find his cousin, but instead her yoing son, alone and afraid.
Since he obviously can't leave him there, Celegorm figures the only option is to take him in as his own son.
