Haji snorted. “Do you think she'll be in any condition to hurt you?”
Fuyuhiko shrugged. “Look at yourself. You could do real damage with one of these.” He tapped a crutch leaning idly against the chair.
Another faint laugh from Hajime. But when he spoke again, his tone was gentler. More serious, somehow. “You don't owe her shit, you know.”
A shadow from Fuyuhiko's past wants a resolution.
Fuyuhiko determines to see it through.
