Eddie knows Buck is in love with him, but he also knows that Buck doesn't know that. In an attempt to make Buck realise that his jealousy is caused by his non-platonic feelings, Eddie tries to trick Buck into thinking he's dating someone by leaving used condoms for him to find. Summary
After moving out of Eddie's place to spare his heart after realising his feelings for him, Buck finds himself becoming friends with his new neighbour. Getting to know her leads to him learning some new things about his life, and Eddie's too.

“And you’re sure he doesn’t love you back because…?” Lyla asks, taking a sip of her wine.
“Well, he’s straight.”
They all eye him like they don’t believe it to be true, despite not knowing Eddie. Maybe they’re just egging him on for more potential gossip.
“I was straight once,” Arlie says.
“Yeah, me too,” Buck agrees. Took him a long time to realise he wasn’t, but Eddie’s not like him. He’s smart, observant, he’d know his own sexuality by now. “But Eddie, he’s, like, super straight.”
“Uh huh,” Mandy hums. “Define that please.”
“He had a wife,” Buck starts.
“I had a husband,” Arlie argues. “The key word there could be had.”
“She died. Got hit by a car,” Buck explains, probably too nonchalantly.
“Oh my god,” Lyla says in shock, blinking at him like she was not expecting that to be what he said. -

Summary
Eddie finds out he has a three year old daughter from a past brief relationship. The thing is, she looks far more like Buck, especially with her matching birthmark. It leads to everyone assuming Buck is her dad, and it makes him upset that he isn't, because he wishes he could be with Eddie and raise her with him.
idk it's kinda like a 5+1 things fic. Five times someone mistakes Buck for her father, and the one time they're right.
