The light overhead isn't from Minion island's overcast sky but instead a steel plated ceiling shining down fluorescence, glass and plastic bottles rattling on shelves against the walls. For half a second Law looks at it all very blankly and thinks, What The Hell. Is he dreaming. Is he hallucinating. Is he just plain dead. His sight-line completes the rotation of this impossibility to fall upon speckled jeans and a long sweeping coat. And the man standing in front of Law has the blankest expression Law's ever seen. And the man standing in front of Law has Law's father's face.

Makino looked back at Luffy and made a ‘cut it out’ motion with her hand with a frown, but Luffy stuck out his tongue at her and continued to reach for the hat, not caring if he was getting less dinner as punishment.
Luffy’s small fingers caressed the brim of the straw hat, and he smiled in victory, while Makino made a chocked sound.
Suddenly, a hand appeared and grabbed his wrist, stopping his arm from moving, holding on to tightly and painfully. Luffy’s heart stopped, and he let out a yelp, trying to get out of the red-haired man’s hold in fear, his blood pumping in his ear loudly. The red-haired man had opened his eyes and was looking down at Luffy, his hold on his wrist was still firm, and his face void of emotion which made Luffy’s skin crawl.
"And what do you think you're doing?" The man spoke, his voice was even and low.

Luffy grew up an angry child. A pirate ship docks at Foosha village one day. Luffy never thought it would change his life and future.
