In the year 2 BC Aegon Targaryen left Dragonstone to conquered Westeros, alongside his sister-wives Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen and there dragons. By 1 AC the Seven Lords Paramount had bent the knee to Aegon and hailed him as there King.
Aegon began the construction and design of the Red Keep in King’s Landing that same year. Aegon constructed his own throne made out of the weapons of his defeated enemies and used his Dragon, Balerion, to meld them into a seat to be feared and desired by all across the Seven Kingdom.
