Idk if there’s gonna be any more additions to this bc the author said they might not. But it’s alright bc of how PEAK it is. It’s so well written and pretty in character not counting the few changes that had to be made for the plot. And even then I can still kinda imagine this happening legitimately (in another universe ofc). Torchflower is so insanely underrated and this helps with my sadness abt that.

Summary
Wifies — or rather, the Director — is dead. Parrot has moved on to new friendships. He has Theo now, and Theo is his everything. But something inside him still misses Wifies. And it certainly doesn’t help that a mysterious, invisible player has been following the avian around. And Parrot has a sneaking suspicion that Wifies’s story runs a lot deeper than he had let on.

Pretty good- lots of angst on the way I can tell. Reminds me of that Wifies Revived AU art on Pinterest. I didn’t see any glaring errors. Oh right- This takes place in an AU where Law is around and powerful at the start of Treasure Arc. Theo gets caught and captured in the black market and the bail is too much and Parrot thinks he needs a team to get Theo out of jail. Parrot gets anonymous messages from Wifies (using the name TD wow wonder what that stands for) and meets up at the cabin in the north. Wifies reveals himself and Parrot says “nope” and shoots him. Srry for the whole summary lmao it’s a good story and I’m excited to see where it goes

Summary
Theo tells Parrot about a strange place called a Memory Box: a place that is everywhere and nowhere, showing itself only to those it finds worthy of its secrets. Anything and everything that has ever existed can leak into it, and Theo intends to use it to train, just as the heroes of the past had done. Parrot, beginning to go a little stir-crazy in the confines of his kingdom, agrees to come along.
But by the time Parrot realizes that seeing everything he had ever known can have a consequence, his ghosts are already standing before him.

Genuinely one of the most peak UU fics I’ve ever read. Not an AU, just a non-canon story. The characterization is absolutely incredible and right on the nose. And the Odyssey Duo angst I’ve been waiting for (Theo asks Parrot about what really happened to Wifies bc Parrot only gave a vague answer the first time Theo asked) the language and grammar is amazing- no errors I can see. This is bouta be incredible

I love chatfics and also Clonefies is depressed. Hopefully character development ensues and he becomes less depressed. Also a high school AU and yk I’m a sucker for those
