Jamie’s voice is suddenly in his ear, chest warm at his back. Roy startles, and Jamie grabs his wrist to steady him. Their arms stretch taut between them as Roy turns, and Jamie thumbs over his wrist softly before dropping it.
Something flares hot in Roy’s belly at the touch, growing hotter still when he drags his eyes over Jamie. He’s got on a Chelsea kit from the 2010s, looking ridiculously fit, and it thrills the possessive part in his brain to know that Jamie’s got Roy’s name emblazoned across his shoulders.
“How dare you,” Roy jests, holding his arms out to show off his outfit. “I’m a regular Edward Cullen.”

Kao doesn’t make a habit out of judging people off of the House they’re in. He finds no benefit in holding false pretenses against someone based solely on stereotypical narratives created from stories of the past. Each individual, regardless of sorting, is their own person separate from the baggage that is tacked on to their House placement.
That being said, Pete Phubodin is as Slytherin as one can get, and he will firmly stand beside that notion.
