His ability to be a great hero didn't depend on how big his social circle was in school. He would be a good hero in his own right, who earned his place all on his own without letting anything or anyone drag him down.It was their loss, his moms told him, if his classmates didn't take the time to get to know him.
And he agreed! It was totally their loss. He was a good person, and had a lot to offer, if only someone would give him a chance. But oh well. They were missing out, and he didn't need them.
Still, though...
It would be nice to have someone to talk to.
