"Nine-Fingers!" roared an unfortunately familiar voice. "Minsc and Boo have returned to your… sewer house!" There was the distinct sound of wood cracking. "Oh, your house - it is very crumbly."

Summary
The man in front of Hattori’s shop was a witcher, that much was clear from the golden eyes and the medallion around his neck – but one of his scabbards was empty. What was a witcher without a silver sword? How was he to make enough money to pay for one, if he lacked the tools for his trade?

“Yeah?” Alex said with a smirk, sneaking his fingertips up under the lab coat. “Does that turn you on? I could calculate the area of a circle for you, if it gets you hot.”
“Maybe later,” Hank said agreeably, and kissed him briefly before pulling back and saying with alarming enthusiasm, “you could go to college!”

Summary
“We think it’s a Soulmate Eater,” Blazer explained to him, the moment he sat down.
“I'm sorry… a what-the-fuck-now?”
“Yeah, that was me, about five days ago,” she sighed, rubbing her shoulder unconsciously, where Robert assumed her mark must be, underneath the purple sweater she was wearing. “But... they’re a thing, apparently! There’s been twelve of them, in recorded supervillain history."
--
A new supervillain is terrorising the city, draining people's soulmate connections and leaving them catatonic, in order to fuel some kind of unknown plot.
But that's totally ok, because Robert Robertson doesn't actually have a soulmate... or so he thinks.

Summary
According to her, one of these should appeal to him above all others. It should call to him so clearly that its owner was sure to be compatible with him on a biological level — compatible enough that simply existing near them could begin to purge the rot still pulsing into his body from the wellspring in his carotid artery. Passive recovery, they called it.
Astarion has been mated to a monster for 20 years, a nightmare with no way out. When he finds himself faced with the prospect of freedom, the possibility is overwhelming. How could he get by on his own when just getting through the day is a battle? Fortunately, there's a lifeline, a voluntary program that matches people who have suffered a great trauma with a volunteer whom they are scent-compatible with. By simply sharing a home with this person, healing comes faster than it ever could alone. Astarion is paired with Wyll Ravengard, a young man who has done more for the program than almost anyone else.
It's a simple arrangement - move in, get better, and move on without giving a new alpha any chance to harm him. After all they've suffered, who would expect feelings to complicate matters?

Summary
Astarion has found a new lease on life, all thanks to the benevolence of the Absolute. No, living in a tower filled with cultists and having to deal with superior officers who think they can order him around is not exactly his idea of paradise, but anything is heaven compared to life under Cazador. He even gets his own room all to himself.
At least, until one Wyll Ravengard, newest member of the Absolute's ranks, is assigned to his room.
(In which Astarion and Wyll are swept up by the cult before the intervention of a certain magical artifact.)

Summary
“Help,” Wyll said. He shook his head. “Or, sorry, I meant to ask, do you need help?”
The man —a pale elf— blinked at him. He was visibly bewildered. “What?”
“Someone here needs help,” Wyll said. “I’m trying to find them. Is it you?”
Or: In a world with no mind flayers and no Mizora, Wyll dies in Cazador's castle. Then he becomes a poltergeist.

Summary
Astarion did not have much in him to appreciate Cazador’s death when it happened.
For one thing, reality had dissolved a while back, and the day Cazador died, it had only dissolved further. Those tadpole-infected weirdos showed up again. Astarion had been chased out of camp after, well, the blood drinking gone wrong incident. And from there, it had been a short trip to getting caught by that Gur. From there, to death. And from death, back to Cazador.
Except, Cazador was now dead.
A zombified Astarion survives and is re-recruited by the party.
