It's not the first time Beth notices Daryl's scent when they're pressed up against each other in a car trunk hiding from what sounds like hundreds of walkers. It isn't even the first time she seeks it out to calm herself. The subtle sweetness of it reminds her of honey. The kind straight from a hive, not the grocery store. When the sounds of growling and shuffling footsteps outside get quiet enough that sleep starts to become an option, they drift closer together. Beth doesn't make a conscious effort to tuck her face against Daryl's scent glands, but she isn't going to move away once she's there.

Summary
Wayne is used to getting calls about Eddie, whether from the nice secretary from Hawkins High or Hopper. He doesn't get calls from the hospital. He definitely doesn't get calls from the hospital about people that aren't Eddie. He's surprised to get a call from the hospital about Steve Harrington.
AKA Steve gives the hospital a random number since his parents aren't home and Wayne comes to pick him up.
