“Had to?” Yoongi’s practically rolling his eyes.
“Yes! I had to let you know that what you said to me, while it hurt a little… I’m still not giving up!”
“..what?”
Yoongi blinks up at the omega dumbly, not quite able to process that sentence.
“I said…” Jungkook steps forward, closing the space between him and Yoongi, smiling sweetly. “I’m not giving up!"

Summary
Yoongi’s dad originally deems him too tall, saying Jungkook isn’t of the typical omega build. Jungkook can see the fear in his parents’ eyes as the king decides his fate, before the queen quietly chimes in that Jungkook’s strong body is well-equipped, even preferable, for bearing heirs. That seems to please the king immensely.
After a short discussion of the dowry, the wedding is arranged. It will take place in a few months, at the beginning of summer. It is conveniently timed for right after Jungkook’s heat. The queen had surprisingly insisted that Jungkook be given time to get comfortable before going through that type of stress. It gives him four months from his wedding to get settled in before he goes into heat.
Jungkook is thankful for her.
