Faint crackling electricity, like the fabric of a windbreaker rubbing against itself, covering the sound of shifting rubble and settling dust. It’s a sound Katsuki’s heard a thousand times before, usually preceded with a shout from Deku saying One For All-
“Full Cowling,” Katsuki whispers, staring and grasping for words. “What the fuck.”
Deku is standing near Katsuki’s feet, back bowed forward like Atlas and body lit up with a green so bright it’s incandescent. Blackwhip escapes from his arms in countless tendrils, lightning arcs off his body every second, and there’s a faint tremble running through his legs.
He’s terrifying. He’s beautiful.
He’s holding the fucking building on his shoulders.

“Do what you can with first aid,” Katsuki snapped, scooping the girl into his arms. “I’ll take her to her mom.”
“And Izuku,” he added, his tone sharp, “as soon as I’m back, I’m dragging your ass straight to Recovery Girl.”
“Watch your mouth, Kacchan,” Izuku murmured weakly, forcing a small grin despite his pain.
“Never mind my mouth!” Katsuki shot back, giving Shoto a look that clearly said, I’ll be right back. Then he bolted toward the woman, Emi cradled securely in his arms.
Reckless as ever, Izuku ends up with a fresh injury—one that will likely leave a nasty scar. And, of course, Bakugo is the one tending to his wounds.

Summary
A thick bloody gash runs from Deku’s right brow, across the bridge of his nose, over his cheek, and all the way down to the edge of his jaw. A sickening, jagged line etched diagonally over his face, wide enough to miss one of his eyes by mere milimeters.
He almost crashes into Deku, grabbing his arm in one hand and his face in the other. Katsuki’s index and thumb press into either side of his jaw, squishing Deku’s cheeks together.
With a voice so low he doesn’t recognize it as his own, Katsuki grinds out his words.
“Who did this to you?”
______________________________Or; a villain leaves a scar on Deku's face and Katsuki absolutely loses it.

Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.
