AW: AW is Typing…Ada and Leon had been playing this cat and mouse game for years. Around and around they moved, sometimes dipping closer to each other. Then Ada would back apart the moment she realized how close they’d managed to find themselves. The back and forth between them was the only constant Leon could cling onto.
He liked it that way, Leon told himself.
It’s easier this way, Ada convinced herself.OR; Leon and Ada have a complicated and messy relationship spanning at least two decades, and Leon flirts like an old man by cooking her food, and getting the itch to grill every time the weather gets nice. (he's just like me fr) Set sometime in between RE6 and RE9.
They have dinner together, and Leon thinks about their relationship, finding comfort in what he's allowed to enjoy, and mourning what he can never have.

Summary
Leon resists the urge to roll his eyes as he reluctantly puts his arm around her, at which point his fingers helpfully inform him that 1) her dress is entirely backless, and 2) the bits that are covered up are made of a fabric light enough that he can practically feel every curve of her smooth skin underneath.
Well, that took an interesting turn.
It takes him every last bit of self-control to school his face into a perfectly neutral expression and ask, voice level, “What are you really doing here?”
She gazes at him in that half-lidded way that he hates, and answers airily, “Same as you. I’m working.”
He raises an eyebrow at that. “Should I be worried about it?”
“The night is still young,” she smirks, craning her neck to whisper in his ear. “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.”
(Or: A chance encounter with Ada at a ball gives Leon much, much more than he bargained for.)

“You must be the lead,” Leon said with a small smile, sticking out his hand. “Ada.”
Even the way her name rolled off his tongue sounded good. A name that would sound better as a moan. Pretty lips that would look good between her thighs.
Bad, Ada, she scolded herself. Focus.
“Yeah.” Ada answered, just as serene. Almost protective, even, the way all her friends greeted him without any preamble.
Usually she thought that her supposed “leader of the house” status was unnecessary at times — but now, well, it made her feel empowered that Leon was singling her out since he himself knew she was the head bitch in charge running the show here.
And all Ada had to do was glance at his hand and back up at Leon, not moving her arms from where they were folded at her chest.
Leon removed his hand, letting it fall to his side.
“I’m Leon." He said.
“I already know who you are,” Ada replied dismissively, walking past him.
In which Ada decides that maybe a bodyguard following the band around wouldn't be a bad idea, until she ends up falling for him.
