Summary
Will cupped Mike's jaw and bridged the distance between them, gently rubbing his face against Mike's forehead, careful to avoid the wound. His heart beat painfully with the action, at once feeling undeserving but also like this was his only chance.
I love you, he didn't say.
Will Byers has always been good at hiding. His trauma. His fears. His heart.
But when Vecna uses him to hurt Mike, he realizes the truth: he's not a weapon. He's a liability. So he'll finish this alone, even if it kills him.
Mike Wheeler has always been bad at saying what he means. But with Will missing and something inside him fracturing in a way he doesn't understand, he's running out of time to figure it out.
