James Potter was pretty sure he had it all figured out. His face was on billboards, shampoo and razor ads, and life was basically golden. Romance? Well, that part was a little slower, at least until a random text from an unknown number landed in his inbox. Regulus, definitely hadn’t meant to text him, he wasn’t exactly looking for anything except his class assigned work partner...
But one message turned into two, then ten, then late-night conversations and inside jokes. James wasn’t planning to fall for a stranger behind a screen... but then again, nothing about Regulus felt like a mistake.or,

Regulus had perfected his routine. He started to arrive fifteen minutes earlier than he usually did, James wouldn't come in until twenty minutes later than that. That way there was no risk in bumping into him.
Then, there was the newest addition to his routine; he tried not to think about the vibrator burning a hole in the drawer of his desk.

Summary
Regulus hated his job. Ok, that wasn't entirely the truth. What he hated was the bar. It was full of college students, middle-aged men with no family and then there were the men around Regulus’ age who hit on everything that moved. Regulus didn’t like anyone who came into the bar. They were too loud, trying too hard to have a good time.
But the worst person he had to deal with that he simply wasn’t able to get rid of was James Potter.

"Yes you are," Reggie nodded solemnly "and you always will be, I promise," Sirius bites his lip, he doesn't want to cry in front of the boy but it hurts, it hurts a lot, because in ten years that promise will expire, because today that promise is invalid "pinky promise," little boy sticks his finger out in front of him.
Regulus Black is a master of potions and one Thursday when he fails doesn't count. Of course not.
Regulus was working on a polyjuice based potion, he ended up a crying five year old and someone had to take care of him.
Will Regulus get something good out of this situation? Will he learn something from a little version of himself he's long forgotten?
