Hyunjin steps forward, runs his thumb over the crow's feet at the corner of Changbin’s eye. The skin is soft under his fingertip. Changbin, long used to his skin, doesn’t flinch at the icy touch. “Only for a little while longer,” Hyunjin whispers and his voice trembles, a little leaf clinging to a bare tree just before winter flushes in.
“You make it sound like I’ve got one foot in the grave, darling,” Changbin laughs.
