“Castle Telmar?” Edmund asked. “Wait- why do they have to come to me?! I- I need to leave! I need to find them-“ He cut off with a cry as he tried to swing his legs over the side of the cot, only to stop, fiery pain shooting up his leg.
“They’ll have to come to you because you can’t walk,” the physician pointed out. “Your leg is broken, my dear, and it didn’t break cleanly. It’s going to take months before you’re able to walk again, you need care!”Or: The Pevensies grow tired of waiting for Aslan to let them back into Narnia, and eight years after returning to England they find their own way back, only for the magic to scatter them across Narnia. Summary
His childhood was a blur. He remembered snow. A blizzard. A woman’s voice- somehow not his mother’s- calling his name.
The accident.
Everything before that was hazy and hurt to think about, and Edmund often found himself tracing his fingers along the scar on his chest. Apparently he’d been thrown into a tree by a giant, and had lost his memory. All he remembered of that incident was pain piercing into his chest-
And now his head hurt, as it always did when he thought about it. Wonderful.Or: Edmund is raised as the son of the White Witch. When he discovers that her minions plan on killing him, he realizes he can no longer pretend he holds any value to his mother.
If only he could remember why she hated him so much…

“How good could one person really-” Tony freezes, eyes wide, nose twitching. Time seems to stop for a moment and it’s only when he spots Bucky’s grin from the corner of his eyes that he finishes his sentence. “-smell.” It’s exquisite. Intense. The only thing clawing at Tony’s mind right now is the need to know where the source is. His mouth salivates and his canines ache to push out. He doesn’t know how much time passes, but eventually, Bucky speaks.
“That’s him.”
“I figured,” Tony replies through gritted teeth. He turns his head to look at Bucky with his jaw tightened. “Why would you want to share him?” Tony scoffs. “You could’ve had this all to yourself.” A wide smile spreads on Bucky’s face and it’s only now that Tony realizes that the tables have turned. The power has been shifted. Bucky unhooks his arm from Tony’s and cups the man’s face.

Izuku was chosen for his lack of quirk. Aizawa was chosen for his quirk’s usefulness as it pertained to the mission. Both were scanned and vetted meticulously, followed for a minimum of one month (Izuku) and a maximum of three (Aizawa; it took much longer due to his pro-hero status).
Kidnapped and subjected to experimentation, torture, and horrors beyond comprehension, Izuku and Aizawa only have each other.
But left to the mercy of their captors, will their companionship be enough to break themselves out? Or instead, lead them to break apart in the process?
