Summary
There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.
The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.
The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.
The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.
And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.

Summary
Sometimes, Bilbo finds, not everything goes according to plan.
First an injury and the coming winter delay his leaving Erebor, then word from the Shire leaves him mourning his beloved Bag End. And because getting added to Thorin's council isn't trouble enough, Kili is in love with an elf, Fili may or may not have his eyes on a certain little scribe, everyone seems to think he is a lady hobbit, and Thorin needs to find someone to marry.
Okay. So the last part might not be trouble, exactly, except for the part where it makes Bilbo's rather hopeless attachment even more painful. Or it wouldn't if he hadn't possibly accidentally promised to provide Thorin with an heir... and Dáin just might still be scheming something.
Fortunately, if there's one thing hobbits are good at, it's growing things. And Thorin did promise him a garden.

Summary
The Battle of the Five Armies is done and dusted. Now is the time for growth, happiness and love for certain members of The Company of Thorin Oakenshield. But not the ones you'd think.
Eve is just a simple Hobbit lass that helped defeat a dragon, saved a king and helped restore the dwarves to their rightful home. Not impressive at all or it would catch the eye of the one dwarf she wants to notice her.
Thorin is just a king that thinks he loves the Hobbit that saved his life and people.
Dwalin is the Captain of the Guard that thinks he's hiding his crush on the Hobbit because how could someone as great as her want him?

Summary
What begins as Ori only intending to share a bed roll with Fíli for warmth one night, eventually turns into the acquaintances becoming curious about each other after, then falling in love over the course of the quest despite others wishing they would just leave each other be.
Meanwhile, Thorin is doing his best to be a good example for his eldest sister-son and not act on the urge to let himself be wrapped around one specific Hobbit Omega's fingers. However, he fails spectacularly.
The rest, as some say, is history.
