So imagine his surprise when he is suddenly living with his heroes, still attending UA, and training with Aizawa-Sensei. This is a journey of inferiority, anger, pain, and healing. Hitoshi will be a hero, even if it is out of spite.

Hitoshi should have stayed on campus.
No, he really, really should have stayed on campus. None of this bullshit would have happened if he'd stayed in his room all day, or, hell, if he'd just biked through the woods around the school rather than deciding he just had to go out into the city for a few hours.
Whatever entity dealt out bad days had it out for him, of that Hitoshi was certain.
The situation he was in -- three older, bigger boys standing between him and any escape, cornered behind the convenience store he'd stopped at for a snack -- was proof enough of that.
Hitoshi went out for a bike ride on a hot summer day and ends up encountering three guys who saw him in the Sports Festival. When he refuses to help them rob a store, they end up using his Capture Scarf against him.

Mic-sensei might be out, but that still leaves Aizawa-sensei. Sure, he most likely gives his number to all of his students, but he does so expecting them to call him should they need him, he insisted on that very firmly, and Hitoshi really, desperately needs someone.
