Anything was worth a shot, and… Well. Even if he didn’t need the money, which he obviously totally did, there was a small, secret part of Sakura that, well… Kinda wanted someone to find him attractive. His looks had caused him problems all his life, so if there was someone, anyone out there, that could actually appreciate them? It was an appealing idea.

Sakura stared back at him with wide eyes. He didn’t have to run. And if he didn’t, Suo would be required to stop, to back away and give Sakura his space, his rejection clear. And even if Sakura’s laughter made his teeth ache with the urge to mark him, Suo would back away. He couldn’t even begin to think of hurting Sakura, of trapping him into something he didn’t want. Even in the brief moment that they’d known each other, he’d been charmed by the omega’s selfless bravery. But he’d been trapped the moment Sakura had relaxed around Suo just enough to show the softer side he denied having.

Summary
A small, rational part of him expected disgust or rage at how inappropriate Sakura was acting. Suo was always one to respect personal space, reflected in his fighting style of parries and dodges. He only struck when necessary. Only touched when necessary.
Instead, Suo looked starved, like he’d gone years without a meal, and had found a feast laid out in front of him. His breathing was heavy, his gaze fixed on Sakura’s mouth. His own lips parted at the way Sakura licked a line across his wrist.

Sakura gets hit by a pollen attack with questionable side effects. Suo helps him manage them.
