The way D3rlord3 is subconsciously leaning into the King's touch is an answer all on its own, it doesn't even take omniscience to know that what the King wants isn't all that different from what D3rlord3 wants, though, D3rlord3 keeps his desires encased within a thick, mulish shell.
"Whatever it is you're trying to do—" D3rlord3 tries to pull away but stops, sucking air sharply through his teeth when his head gives a harsh throb "—it's not working. It wont work."
Yet it brought you back here.
OR
D3rlord3 returns to the King because he feels like he should (because deep down he wants to but he’s too full of himself to admit it) and they share a drink.

D3rlord3 had to escape. He couldn't stay here any longer with this.. Entity.. Not anymore because of the knowledge he has now. His head hurts like hell and it feels like it might burst open and he might pass out in any given moment.
But when he tried to escape, he was stopped by the King. It didn't let him escape and kept him trapped. Was he going to die? Without warning Avery? Was he– but just when he thought the King was going to kill him..
It spared him.. In a weird way. It kept D3rlord3 trapped but aching. Using its obsidian blacks and long tentacles and tendrils to overstimulate him.
Did this Entity find this funny? Was it playing with him..? Fuck, how is he going to escape..? How was he going to warn Avery now..?

Summary
A groan escapes his lips as he stirs; his head erupting with throbbing agony. It feels as if his skull is being slowly crushed as if in any minute it’ll cave in and shards of bone will dig into his brain. It takes him a moment to register above the brain fog that he has eyes he can use and as they flit open the shoddy light hanging and flickering above him feels blinding, sending an even more miserable ripple of pain through him. He squeezes his eyes shut and lets out a displeased mumble. He tries to bring a hand up to pinch the bridge of his nose however this is unsuccessful as his wrists meet the burn of coarse rope.

Robert gets kidnapped by Toxic. When he can’t provide the supervillain with the information he asks for he realises killing the dispatcher is too kind a punishment. There are worse things that proceed death and he’d have to be an idiot to not pick up on Robert’s suicidal inclinations. Toxic opts to render him unable to do his job instead.
