If he expects Kazuki to reach for the card right away, he’s going to be disappointed, the teen thinks darkly. He is curious, but he’s not about to show it and the man chuckles once more, eyes alight with amusement. He taps the card once as he stands up and then turns on his heel, waving goodbye as he leaves. Kazuki waits until the man disappears through the door before finally reaching for the card.
It’s a regular business card, although Kazuki doesn’t think cafes’ owners usually have those. It must be a front for something, the mafia most likely and isn’t that interesting?
Kazuki is thirteen when he gets an offer to start working for the organization. It goes from there(AU, different first meeting)
