Summary
“Hello, Zam.” A almost robotic voice spoke through the line, the lack of emotion in it making it obvious. Though, it sounded almost.. taunting, as one would say.
Zam freezes for a moment. Snapped out her half asleep state, straightening her posture. “Um, who is this?” The girl stammered, looking around her— as if looking for any of her friends that might be pulling some elaborate prank on her.
“That’s rather rude, even for you, Zam” The voice responded. She could tell it was trying to be cheerful, though the tone didn’t make her so. “What, can’t a friend just say hello nowadays?”
