Summary
What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever. Meanwhile, Harry is just a charismatic kid with a snake and ridiculously powerful magic.
It turned into a series rewrite.

Summary
Avid rushes out into the centre of town, stake in hand, Drift on his tail, and Apo not far behind. The townsfolk – vampires and humans alike – hover at the edges, some taking refuge from the furious, bloody figure on the steps of the tavern, others sticking close to the beacon’s tower, using the strength to their benefit. As he comes to a skidding stop, the figure looks up, and Owen bares his fangs, eyes flashing crimson.
“Who is this?” He snarls, throwing an arm out to the mutilated corpse beneath him. “And what were they doing in my forest?”
Swallowing fearfully, Avid slowly but surely drops his gaze. There, crumpled beneath the vampire lays a body. It’s split, twisted wrongly with bones poking out at angles Avid’s certain they should never be bent to. At his side, Apo curses weakly, muttering out a headcount whilst Drift sucks in a horrified breath. There’s too much blood to tell who it could possibly be, but one thing is for certain; that person is well and truly dead.

Or: Avid opens a... "bakery", Cleo becomes the somewhat official mayor of Oakhurst, and the town puts aside their differences with the vampires as a war brews steadily on the horizon.

Summary
In the aftermath of Oakhurst, Abolish returns to work, but finds himself joined by two very familiar faces. "Done with those lunatics," he definitely was not. Still, he's got a job to do, and he's going to stick at it, even with two divorced-situationship/whatever-the-hell vampires flanking him. Abolish can be professional about the whole thing. His two new coworkers, however...
AU in which Owen and Legs both survive VSMP and join Abolish in the shadow organisation. Neither are coping with working with the other in a remotely normal fashion.
