"Skylar, are you packed up?" He heard his eomma ask while she entered his room. She could see he was neatly folding his clothes and zipping up his bag. "Only pack necessary items, alright? You'll be staying for a week." Skylar smiled at her and nodded. He rolled the suitcase out his door and waited for his sister to finish her own packing. "Oh right." Skylar turned to his eomma who had her finger on her chin. "Do you remember your friend, Cirrus?" Skylar nodded slowly, already dreading what she would say. "I asked him to join in." She said cheerfully. Skylar could only freeze up when knocks came from the door.
While his eomma opened and greeted Cirrus inside, Skylar could only stand there. A whole week with Cirrus? He tried to think positively. Maybe it won't be so bad! What's the worse that can happen? Just as Skylar thought that, Cirrus flashed him a bright smile. "Everything..." He murmured and pretended to happily greet Cirrus.
