Her mentor; an overbearing Officer who doesn’t know what she wants. Has the hots for anyone with her own face. And a third angle on this shit-pie; a rival Star butting in, trying to take what's hers. All she wants is a little love.
Interpersonal drama’s the name of the game. These Starlings have to decide whether they can work together or burn together. But the world doesn't revolve around them, an outside force wants them evicted from their facility while one uncovers a secret close to her heart that makes her question everything the Nation stands for.

One bad fight, a series of mistakes, raised tempers–that’s all it takes until it all unravels at the seams. Nähren is the dry glue trying to keep the crew together while they’re living their worst nightmare in a sardine can hundreds of meters below the water.

Summary
Semi-detached vertical slices of the misfortunes and strange happenings at W-72 Wertheimer. The misshapen lump of an asteroid base has a diameter of 250km. It’s one of the six natural satellites belonging to Leng. Its most prominent feature is a reddish cap of thorins spat out by its parent planet that made the 19,000km journey across.
In an underground VKON (Verteidigungs- und Kriegsministerium der Nation) facility on the base, there is a natural pit in the rock that is over 300km deep. They still aren’t done measuring it. Some say it’s a hole to another dimension, others think it’s a portal to hell. Non-euclidean geometry aside, everyone agrees it's the source of the horrors that transpire.
