Summary
Chrissy watches Eddie flail and dance, feeling lighter – such a strong contrast to the paranoia and disarray and horror. She knows it has a lot to do with the school’s resident “freak” sitting beside her now. Maybe everything to do with him.
Him and Billy Joel, of course.

Summary
Amidst the panic and displacement of Hawkins following the earthquake, it takes two days to realize that Chrissy Cunningham’s grave was empty.
The coffin had been splintered to pieces, the dirt around it scattered in piles. A jagged crack in the split headstone.
There was no lead, no way to know how or who took the body.
Nothing but the claw marks that drag away from the scene.

“Why does it even matter?”
“It matters because you lied.”
“About a stupid painting?”
“It’s not stupid to me!"
“Mike! What do you want from me!” The question is desperate and so loud, it fills the entire room, knocking the fight out of them both. Will’s eyes brim with tears.
It's the last night of his trip visiting Will at NYU and Mike finds something curious in a sketchbook. Before he can face what it might mean for him, he has to find out what it meant (or means) for Will.

Summary
“I need you.”
Will’s expression grows more stunned. “What?” he breathes, voice barely above a whisper.
His instincts tell him to take it all back, but the way that Will’s looking at him with those sorrowful, questioning eyes weakens him. And he’s been stupid for many, many years, so what’s a little more stupidity?
aka a s5 speculatory mike wheeler-centric fic about his internalised homophobia and a lot of moments where he's not so clever about his feelings with will

Summary
Mike is burning up, inside and out.
Externally, there’s a bubbling burn wound carved across his shoulder— but, to be honest, a simple injury is the least of his worries. He’s more concerned with the aggravating, endlessly-perplexing internal dilemma that’s been plaguing his mind for God knows how long; why is he completely incapable of acting normal around Will?
Every time he sees Will— or even dares to look him in the eye— Mike feels this sort of fire burning deep in his chest, hot and all-consuming and completely inexplicable. And, no matter how hard he tries, Mike just can’t figure it out;
What is wrong with him?
(or; Mike has no idea why his heart starts to race around Will. It takes a near-death, some close encounters, and a few aggressive-but-caring talks from Jonathan for him to figure it out.)

Summary
Sir Michael tilted his head, squinting at Will. Without warning, his hand came to cup Will's cheek, turning his skin at least ten degrees warmer. "He looks like you," Sir Michael continued, "and he has your name. Your moles, too."
His thumb came down to brush the mole over Will's top lip. The touch felt soft, strangely reverent. "My— moles?"
Mike had the same sentiment, albeit with more displeasure. "His moles?"
Will makes a wish. Sir Michael the Brave comes to fulfill it, but Mike Wheeler makes his wish come true.

Summary
A fat raindrop splashes on Mike’s cheek, slips down his face and down his chin; falls on his neck to disappear inside his damp shirt. Leaves behind the scorching trail of Will’s gaze on his skin.
Mike tightens his grip on the soda cans when Will’s adam’s apple bobs up and down, considers closing his eyes and tipping his head back, let the tepid rain speck his face, soak him to the bone.
A kiss in the rain would be romantic, right? Date appropriate.
“You should get back in the car.”
or; Michael Wheeler and the mortifying ordeal of being in a car with a beautiful boy.
