“Fuck,” he wheezes out, squeezing his eyes shut for a long moment as he tries to catch his breath. It feels like his heart is lodged in his throat, beating in time with the sudden throbbing headache within his skull. A little breathless, he lets out a strained, humorless laugh, once again exasperated with his bone-chilling fear towards this place. Opening his eyes, he meets his own gaze in the mirror he’s leaning against and shakes his head once, murmuring, “Get your shit together, Tozier. You’re fine.”
And then his reflection winks at him.

Summary
When his body finally decides it's enough, Richie doesn't know what to do. He feels utterly confused and for a mere second he can't remember where he is. The room spins, leaving him dizzy.
Richie tries to catch his breath, only to realise he can't. It feels like he's choking, like there isn't enough air in the room. Anxiety claws at his chest making breathing all the more difficult.
Suddenly he seems to realise that something is very wrong.
Or, another fix-it wherein everybody lives but Richie gets seriously injured while saving Eddie.

so this is a cliche trope but I love it a lot and I’ve never done one so here we go: a fic in which the same story is told from two perspectives. It’s for It Chapter Two! First up is Richie, hallucinating from a fever in his room at the B&B, and the next one will be Eddie and Ben. They’re both a little short, but Eddie and Ben’s will be longer because there’s only so much you can write from the perspective of a delirious person.
