Jaime and Cersei began swapping places at a young age, thanks to Cersei’s stubborn insistence. Jaime reluctantly took on Cersei’s “ladyship studies,” including sewing, which he thought was a waste of time.
However, to his surprise, he found sewing strangely enjoyable, with it requiring the same focus and precision as swordplay. As he got older, he found himself using his sewing skills here and there, and somehow, it was sewing of all things that became the key to Jaime feeling like he truly belonged.
Who knew a needle and thread would be the thing to make him feel like more than just a Kingsguard pawn?
