Summary
In Starscream’s honest (and very humble) opinion, this was one of the worst days of his life.
And that’s against some very steep competition, you know! Millennia upon millennia of having the worst luck known to Cybertron and beyond really lends itself to a never-ending stream of horrible events that all culminate into an ever-present world-weariness and severe paranoia, all channeled into one (unfortunately small) seeker.
Today in particular, though, seemed to deviate from his usual pattern of bad luck, in the form of an irate Autobot.

Summary
Orion Pax is now in Vos, trying his very best not to get maimed and/or assassinated during his visit while meeting up with his mate-to-be Prince Star—oh, what was that? No one can get ahold of Starscream long enough to facilitate a meeting? And his trine is helping him play keep-away with the royals of both polities?

Summary
Starscream of Vos, entirely against his will, has been promoted to the crown prince and is next in line to become the Winglord after many an unfortunate circumstances had resulted in the rest of Lord Ozone’s next-of-kin to be rendered ineligible for the throne.
With any hope of a career in the sciences thoroughly dashed, Starscream is only further incensed by the revelation that, along with a title he never wanted, he is also expected to fix the long-simmering tensions between Vos and Iacon in the only method they’ve left to try: Political bonding.
Hopefully Starscream's trine can convince him to abstain from murdering his elected suitor long enough to avoid a planet-wide war.

Summary
Starscream has finally taken a leap of faith and became the most famous turncoat the Decepticons ever had, joining the Autobots in every aspect besides name, and—generally, vaguely, by a very tiny margin borne only of having to choose between two horrible options and one deadly one—is doing alright.
Unfortunately, his decision brought with it a few unexpected(-ish) consequences; both internal and external.

Megatron’s figured out that Autobot Spec Ops’ main advantage is unpredictability. He sends his least reliable mecha after them to see if he can even the odds on that front. The Command Trine were not expecting get this assignment, nor were they expecting to be told to their faceplates that Megatron considered them his least reliable mecha. Starscream is pissed. Thundercracker is ambivalent. Skywarp is entertained. Spec Ops is… handling it.

Kaeya shakes his head miserably. “I’m going to hurt you,” he repeats in a whisper. “Because of what I am.”
Diluc looks at his brother critically. There are many things he could say right now, like, What exactly are you? or, I think that’s still kind of offensive.
He decides on asking, “Do you want to hurt me?”
The response is immediate. Kaeya’s face becomes horrified, and, forcefully, he says, “No!”
Diluc has a very silly brother. “Well, then, I don’t care what you are, ‘Yaya,” Diluc tells him matter-of-factly. He pauses. That isn’t quite right. “Well, I mean, I do, but you’re my brother, first and foremost, now and always and forever.”
There are some truths that never change.
(Or: Four times Diluc sees Kaeya without his eyepatch.)

Optimus believes that Starscream possesses the capacity for change, but is he right? Can a former Decepticon commander give up his old ways and stand not by Megatron's side but against him?

Starscream does what he must to get his work done.
Including: kidnapping Skyfire, convincing Skyfire to commit a minor act of betrayal, and getting caught by Autobots…to get closer to Skyfire.
Or, Starscream has a hard time focusing on his work recently and blames Skyfire meanwhile his trine questions their morals.
(Think of this as a trine redemption fic with a side of SkyStar and you'll be happy)
Title is from the concept of "Body Doubling". Body Doubling: a technique used to increase focus and motivation where an individual does their work in the presence of another.
