Shelby was having an okay day in the castle. It was another meeting with the rest of the coven as they discussed the next steps. Most of it was normal, the only thing of note being that Cleo and Apo had decided to show up halfway through. During the tense conversation between Scott and Apo, she noticed a flash of blonde hair from the court yard. Before she could react, Martyn came in fists swinging before he activated a new ability.
Everything went white, and when she came to, she was in a dirty alleyway in a place she had never seen before.

Elsewhere, the prison break of the century was occurring in Musutafu, Japan. With the crumbling walls, all hell breaks loose as quirks are flying every which way. Guards struggle to contain the inmates and turn the security system back on. When All for One escaped into the night, he continued his siege on another six prisons across the country. Sometime during the chaos, something happens. Two quirks clash, and with an explosive boom, fourteen individuals are transported from Oakhurst, to Musutafu, Japan. But amidst the chaos, none noticed the quirk mishap.Leaving fourteen people from another universe to wander the streets of the my hero academia universe

Pearl and Cleo had both been on edge leading up to the anniversary of the Curse.
They’d done their best to clear the land of the dark magic that had been cast upon it eight hundred years prior. All the beacons that Abolish’s Shadow Organization hadn’t taken had been carefully dismantled. Each and every crypt had been meticulously sealed up. And the old, empty castle that once loomed dark and sinister over their woods had been turned into a concert venue that hosted dozens of raves each year. Shelby’s suggestion. She was still salty about having had to put so much effort into helping to build their ballroom, only for it to never be used.
Unfortunately, Oakhurst was the one place where no good deed ever went unpunished.
And right as the clock struck midnight, signaling the beginning of the year of darkness, rumors of beasts slaughtering great quantities of the neighboring farms’ cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens with great abandon reached Pearl’s and Cleo’s ears.

Abolish was Scott's butler back in the height of his rule, until his lord is cursed to sleep, and he is cursed to wait. Six hundred years later Scott returns, as do people to Oakhurst, but this time Abolish refuses to fail his lord.

The Curse of Oakhurst has been broken for the past two decades, and Scott, Drift, and Shelby still visit every year to pay respects to their friends.

Summary
By all accounts and purposes, Jack von Pyroscythe should be dead. They actually remember what happened very clearly- odd considering their previous experience with death and everything that followed. True, permanent death is hard for a vampire, but Shelby seemed to have found it relatively easy considering the stake that went through Pyro's chest.
And yet, here they are. Dirt under their nails, bloodied, and waiting on a carriage with Abolish Veylocke by his side.

“You talk too much…” Owen’s claws were ripping apart clothes and skin before Avid had so much of a second to breathe, crying out as one dragged itself over his right eye. The pain was too much as he desperately tried to sink further into the corner, to disappear and be back in his room. He was certain he'd be blinded there if he somehow survived this, blood trickling onto his hands as his arse met the ground.
However, a desperate shout and the continued scuffle of vampires filled the cavern but never touched Avid again.
