Summary
Stede Bonnet is a newly out divorcé that works for his father’s lighting and sound company. Following an embarrassing mistake on the job, Stede is comforted by a kind stranger named Ed. Stede is shocked to discover that the mysterious man he’s been venting to is the famous comedian known to the world as Blackbeard.
Edward Teach is all too happy to ignore the toll his career has taken on his mental health. After all he’s pretty sure turning his misery into comedy is the only thing he is good for. But when he falls for Stede, a fascinating stranger he ran into before a gig, he slowly starts to reconsider if being Blackbeard is worth the cost.

Summary
Ed Teach is a certified star in the ballet world. His name on a poster can sell out tickets for an entire show's running easily, which is why returning to the stage after being signed off work for a year with a knee injury is particularly daunting. Ed has a legacy of his own creation to live up to, and he's determined to show everyone that his star hasn't dimmed while he's been unable to perform. He can't let anything distract him, least of all the new handsome blonde dancer at his company.
Stede Bonnet is a household name in the ballet world, but that's because he's the son of famous ballerina Sarah Bonnet and wealthy 'patron of the arts' Theodore Bonnet. Everyone has an idea of who Stede is before he even gets a chance to show them. And what he wants more than anything is to prove himself and show that he's not some little rich boy nepotism baby who bought his way into the big leagues.
However, ballet can be a cutthroat world, and when strange occurrences keep happening as the company prepares to put on a production of Swan Lake, the question has to be asked of just how far someone will go to reach the top.

But sometimes there are mornings like this one, when he wakes up early, before dawn, buzzing with the urge to crawl out of his own skin. When he climbs up to the crow’s nest because he can’t possibly stay still — but then he looks down, down at the hard deck where he’d almost died, and the dark ocean where he’d tried to drown them all. Thinks – I could jump.
