Pias Lippen bewegten sich und fingen Esthers Blick ein. „Meinst du, unten gibt es irgendwo einen Mistelzweig?”
Esther hatte keine Ahnung. Sie hatte auch wenig Lust, das herauszufinden. Wieso sollte sie unten sein wollen, wenn Pia hier war? Hier gab es zwar definitiv keinen Mistelzweig, aber es gab Pia, die ihr immer näher zu kommen schien, bis jegliche Selbstkontrolle bröckelte, die Esther vorher vielleicht noch besessen hatte.
In dem Moment gab es keinen Grund, warum sie Pia nicht küssen sollte. Auch ohne Mistelzweig.

Schon viel zu lange, und egal was Pia versucht, es hat sich nichts daran geändert. Esther braucht ihre Liebe nicht zu kaufen, weil Pia es schon ganz alleine geschafft hat, ihr Herz hoffnungslos an Esther zu verlieren.

Carson knows that having a family with Greta would mean running, and running away with Greta is exactly what she wants. It would mean staying with Greta long enough to see the world, to wrap their kids up in their arms and show them sunsets and sunrises scattered across the globe. Carson realizes that she is like her mother, but as time goes on, she’s come to realize that’s not really a bad thing; it’s not really so horrible to want things. In fact, it’s okay, a true fact of life that time spent in search of meaning is what really matters.
In the dark, when it’s just the two of them, Carson can’t help her curiosity any longer.
(Or, Carson and Greta who talk about their dreams. Conversations that they have in the dark. Little things that they always wanted that they were too afraid to admit to other people. Dreams they have with each other that they wouldn't ever admit in the light. A five times fic.)
