“You’re being weird,” Buck plants his palms firmly on the kitchen island as Eddie stirs some hot chocolate in a small pot, just like his abuela used to do. This was a hit with the firehouse, and if he needed anything, it’s something that could cause a distraction so they didn’t need to have this conversation.
“What’re you talking about? No I’m not,” he returns, eyes looking anywhere other than into the eyes of the man he loves.
Eddie is coming to terms with his heightened sex drive...Buck doesn't mind one bit.

“I tried.” Eddie huffs. “She said, verbatim, ‘I’m not your gay Yoda.’”
With that, the fitting room stall’s lock finally clicks open, the door swinging open with a muted groan. Eddie steps out, arms spread wide. “Alright. What do we think?”
From an objective standpoint, he looks good. He looks really good. Objectively speaking.
From a subjective standpoint, he looks like someone Buck wants to pin against the nearest surface and fuck until they’re both stupid.
“Handsome, you are,” Buck croaks.

“Collei,” Amir repeats, wiping the sweat off of his face with the back of his sleeve. Tighnari forces himself to take a deep breath, in and out. “She–she’s gone.”
The world stops. His throat is dry, much too dry. Perhaps he’d stumbled into the desert, and started hallucinating, because he must not have heard Amir properly, there’s no way.
