With that, the fitting room stall’s lock finally clicks open, the door swinging open with a muted groan. Eddie steps out, arms spread wide. “Alright. What do we think?”
From an objective standpoint, he looks good. He looks really good. Objectively speaking.
From a subjective standpoint, he looks like someone Buck wants to pin against the nearest surface and fuck until they’re both stupid.
“Handsome, you are,” Buck croaks.

“Collei,” Amir repeats, wiping the sweat off of his face with the back of his sleeve. Tighnari forces himself to take a deep breath, in and out. “She–she’s gone.”
The world stops. His throat is dry, much too dry. Perhaps he’d stumbled into the desert, and started hallucinating, because he must not have heard Amir properly, there’s no way.

Most of Miles' decisions were well-thought out. They made sense. They were logical. Safe. The decision to stay in Phoenix's guest room while he worked on his dissertation, however, had been made entirely on a whim-- and no matter how he tried to keep it all together, it was going to drag him as far from his comfort zone as he'd ever been, whether he liked it or not.
Phoenix had been in love with Miles Edgeworth for years; what they had now was perfect, though, and he would never dream of asking for anything else. Daisuke sits on the closest upright surface, which happens to be a chaise, and closes his eyes, awaiting the message to follow. Inwardly, he curses himself for being so eager. He’s not even sure if it’s him, yet.
