Summary
Fallen from the grace of society and drowned in the consequences of his identity, Shuichi takes to the streets after getting evicted. He lost his job, has no one to help him out, and sinks down the rabbit hole of crime to keep himself afloat. Unfortunately for the mutant outcast, he’s arrested almost immediately after stealing some food to survive. With nowhere else to go but rock bottom, he’s practically given up.
But then he meets a certain underground hero that changes his perspective forever—one that shows him he can succeed against circumstances that are out to get him, and that the fight against both yourself and society doesn’t have to be done alone. To Tomura, this encounter is equally enlightening, giving him a newfound hope after all that he's been through. Shuichi is the hero's first real friend, who shows him that it's okay to be true to himself.
