As long as I have this,” He flipped to a different page, one that had a rough sketch of Simon, hunched over a bunch of paperwork in various different languages. He remembered Johnny once mentioning how he was jealous of how many languages Simon spoke. Then he flipped to another, one of Simon laying naked in bed, mask pulled up to his nose. His body language was lax, and Johnny had even included his tattoos and the scar he had on his very inner thigh, right next to his groin. It was old, one of the oldest he had, and when he had been in the hospital for it, he’d taken solace in the fact that it was somewhere nobody would see it. His heart ached knowing he’d been wrong, that someone had not only seen it but taken the care to draw him and find it important enough to include.
