Summary
When she got the chance, she went back to her little spot in the forest—where she and Poppa would go on rainy days, and found her supplies gone. Momma had taken them, along with the journals, the chalk, and had erased the circle. Henrietta had spent hours on that circle, trying to get it perfect. Unsure if it would even work. Poppa never wrote it down, and Henrietta wasn’t the prodigy people expected her to be.
Henri stayed there for hours, looking for anything that might be left, but her mother did an out-and-out job. The only thing left were the same pebbles and stones that’d always be there, and maybe a few more scuff marks. By the time she was done surveying the area, the trees had grown taller and darker, the trickling stream nearby roughened, and the coyotes were about to start their nightly prowl. Henrietta went home after that; what use would she be as coyote food?
or: the beginning of a next-gen story. Where, after Edward kicks the bucket, and some other events, his oldest child decides to run away.

There were a few moments during the day where he wasn't with Eudon, however. Like with tutoring—all the kids did it, and it was beyond boring.
While the various men and women tried to teach him about the Maths, sciences, and other subjects, Bennett's mind alway—inevitably, wandered somewhere far away.
While they droned about addition and sight words, he thought of all the places he could be that weren't the stuffy rooms—based entirely off of pictures from travelogs he found in the library but couldn't yet read. From the peak of Elynas to the foggy Tsurumi Island, there was one place he thought about the most.
Does the Mondstadt Cathedral really have a wolf head on its relief? He wondered, knowing full well he'd most likely never get to confirm the question in person.
After all, these were nothing but the mild imaginative thoughts of a small child—nothing more, nothing less.
or: a bennett in fontaine is very different from a bennett in mondstadt, but at the end of day some things are always the same.

On the other hand, he wasn’t stupid, and with or without his glasses he could see through the phony bullshit that Akechi was using as a crutch for his own—what weird Akechi call it a few weeks ago—childish interest? Akechi wasn’t a Featherman fanatic. The better term for him would be a Featherman fanatic in denial, and to top it off, he liked Featherman R more than Neo Feather Man Again! Which, by the way, was infinitely far more appealing than the original show, Featherman R!
(or: the logistics of which featherman show is better, as argued by both a student with a criminal record and the ace detective with a hidden mean streak.)

In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of this new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh is misunderstanding a few things, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.
