Summary
“Does it hurt?”
Jungwon can only swallow thickly, wincing when he hears just how hoarse his voice has gone, feels just how much his throat aches. “Yes.”
For a moment, he looks sorry, looks concerned that he hurt Jungwon a little too much. Jongseong just sighs and bends down, pressing the gentlest kiss on Jungwon’s lips. It feels just like coming home—it’s so inexplicably Jongseong that it almost makes Jungwon cry all over again but for an entirely different reason. And then—
“Good,” Jongseong whispers against his mouth before pulling away, “it fucking should.”
(Or, Jongseong decides to find out why Jungwon is avoiding him. It doesn’t end well—or it ends in the best way possible because Jungwon wins in more ways than one.)
