   Absolute Favorite: Part epic romance, part fictional treatise on the sociopolitical effects of racism. Chock-full of beautiful metaphors, layered symbolism, carefully-plotted mystery, literary allusion, subtle foreshadowing, precise characterization, creative world building, well-developed original characters, and salacious erotica. Not only the benchmark for Harmony fanfiction, but the level of quality to which all fanfic should aspire. This fic has surpassed my every expectation.
