"What," She chafes, "Is this what you want, Bacon?" She presses a hand down on her lower abdomen and Bacon's body softens with a small breath. The pressure starts to leave and Bacon frowns at the grin on Hannahs face. "Use your words, Bacon." She chides.
"…I want you to lay on me," Bacon mutters. Hannah tilts her head mockingly confused and Bacon glowers. "Hannah I'm seriously going to kill you if you don't lay on me right now."
She laughs loud and bright and Bacon wishes she landed a better punch in their last scuffle but she complies nonetheless.

“Consensually?” Bacon mumbles, scooching a bit closer. Hannah watches as his eyes flutter closed before she responds.

“Hey, pretty.” His canine tooth sticks forward through his closed mouth smile. It’s cute. His face is covered in freckles, melanin like splattered paint across his cheekbones. His hair is a mess of curls threaded with white strands, silver right up to the root.
“You trying to sweet talk your way into a cigarette?” Hannah asks, no malice in the question, just a teasing lilt. She steps closer to him. He puts his hands up, an easy surrender, practiced and natural. Hannah thinks he must be used to agreeing.
“No, I– I’ve never smoked,” he says, his pretty face turning a little more sheepish, confidence still oozing from him despite the pink tinge to his skin. She cracks a smile to show sharp teeth, he returns the grin effortlessly. It’s almost as intoxicating as the high filling her lungs. He leans a hair closer to catch some of the smoke spilling from her lips, eyes sparkling when she doesn’t pull away. “You could be my first, if you have one to spare.”

Minute is no stranger to bandaging himself up because he doesn't want to show anyone his insides. He’s spent hours, days, half alive and half wasted, entirely alone. He has stared at the bathroom ceiling like the fluorescent light is the sun, cursed himself for being weak, cursed himself for being so stupidly strong. He won't let Hannah feel that same numbness if he can help it.
There’s sweat dripping down her pinched forehead. Minute’s mind is made up before it can reach her brow–he’d rather die himself than have her suffer by herself, not when he’s right here.
