Summary
Jack would be lying if he said he hadn't thought about it. The singular focus Samira directed towards her patients, the compassion and attention she seemed to have for every person that passed through her care–Jack was nearly certain that being on the receiving end of it would knock him on his ass.
The reality of it was not far from his daydreams.

Summary
A full smile blooms on Abbot’s face. “Dr Mohan, you have your own go-bag?!” He looks absolutely delighted as she rolls her eyes and reaches down to her backpack, fighting her own smile.
“You don’t get the goods if you make fun of me, Dr Abbot.”
His right hand moves from his leg to rest over his heart. His eyes dance at her as his features slip into a farcical mask of shock.
“Hey hey, woah woah, this is awe I’m giving you, baby!”
--
Jack and Samira become friends. It's totally fine.

Summary
“What else you got in your go-bag?” She found herself asking in awe. It hadn’t been a medically relevant question – not really. Not a learning opportunity, not something that would help the patient, just curiosity. Perhaps it started then; the itch to know what made Jack Abbot tick, to know what he deems essential. To know what he wants within arms reach at any given moment.
(Or: the evolution of Doctor Mohan's go-bag after Pittfest.)

Summary
“What the hell are you doing here?” Abbot asked. He nodded for her to continue walking
“A physician walking into a hospital just before shift change,” She watched as a grin spread across his face. “It’s a riddle no one has been able to crack.”
“You’re finally working nights?”
“I switched with Ellis,” She said. “So, you’re stuck with me for the next three days.” Her steps faltered. “Finally?”
“Are you serious? I’ve been trying to poach you from day shift since PittFest.”
“Really?”
“Really.” His response was almost instant. “You were incredible. The IO borehole, the pigtail catheter; I’m going to be talking about that for the rest of my life. Of course I want you for night shift.”
