long ago, the kingdom of yihua was a peaceful one, as the king and queen were able to live peacefully with their four sons. however, the peace was disrupted once the queen was killed. fearing the worst for his children, the king magically sealed his children in a hidden castle deep in the forest, leaving the princes in an empty castle full of books, a variety of things to help them pass the time, and each other.
after 10 years in being stuck in that “prison,” the princes find themselves yearning for the world they were once a part of: the stars, the gardens, and the people. so, they take it upon themselves to break free and explore the world, wielding the freedom that they’ve rightly earned.

a fight, blackmail, detention, and a very excited drama teacher forces these 9 very different students to join their school spring musical.
along this journey, feelings are stirred, friendships are tested, drama is made; and the countdown to spring break has just begun!

As Yuuji cracks open his aching, dry eyes, he really isn’t sure to what to make of it all. He sits up slowly with everything still hurting and his head pounding like Kugisaki’s taken her hammer straight to his skull. Multiple times.
(He misses the shrinking, glowing crack in the ground behind him, big enough for a person to crawl out of. The sloshing of green water blends with the muted clamour of running water, dull humming and beeping—all of it abruptly silenced as the crack snaps shut, leaving only unblemished stone behind.)

So, my final year at New Rome gets hijacked when Apollo drags me to Tokyo for a “family emergency,” then literally vanishes in a crowd. Two days I’m lost, armed with nothing but god-given Japanese and a burner phone. Then I meet Yuuji—this pink-haired kid jogging at night who helps me find a motel. Good guy. We swap numbers.
A week later, he calls: his whole class is failing English. I show up to tutor them, and immediately, I know these aren’t normal students. The girl, Nobara, looks at me like I’m a suspicious fashion choice. The quiet one, Megumi, watches me like I might morph into a monster any second. And honestly, the energy around them? It’s not like monsters. It’s colder. Sadder.
Then he shows up. Gojo. White hair, blindfold, and a vibe that screams god-level trouble. He slings an arm around me and says, “No Cursed Energy… but you’re packing something else, aren’t you?”
I played dumb. “Just a guy who’s good with irregular verbs.”
