His gut twisted, some hole opening that he had never expected. This was the mark of a scholar surely, an elegant master. Not a someone who lived in the dirt. More importantly. It did not match Yue Qi's.

“Wei Wuxian!” Jiang Cheng hisses under his breath, straining against the long red silk ribbon securing his hands tightly behind his back to a pole. The position Jiang Cheng is in forces him onto his knees, completely naked, his thighs splayed wide open right in the centre of the stage, with a vibrator buried deep inside him and nipple clamps adorning his chest.
Jiang Cheng grits his teeth against the sense of humiliation bubbling up in him and he glances surreptitiously around the strip club, eyes darting to every potential hint of a shadow in the corners of the huge room.
A low chuckle comes from one of the booths under the stage.
“I wasn’t lying when I said I booked the entire club for the night, Jiang Cheng. Did you seriously think I’ll let anyone else see you like this?”

Wei Ying watches him wordlessly, warily. Jiang Cheng being open is something rather rare, and most of the time Jiang Cheng throws it back in his face.
“It’s because I don’t trust you as far as I can throw you,” Jiang Cheng spits and Wei Ying sucks in a breath like he’s been punched in the gut, “It’s because you lied to me and then almost abandoned me when I needed you the most. It’s because you might love me but is that enough? I’m not even sure you respect me.”
The ugly thing in his throat is still there. The jealousy is gone now, but the ugly thing in his throat is still there and Wei Ying has no idea what it is anymore. All he knows is that it’s done with rationality, with reason.
