Summary
Between each world, grand walls stand. The World Border marks the start of one world and the end of another. Legends speak of the impenetrable wall and how so many have died trying to break through.
Rat was a simple man. One with blood staining his hands. When he went to spar with his friend, he never expected to face death for the final time. When the chains wrapped around him and the beam of pure golden light came down upon him, he knew his story was over.
He never expected to go flying off.
Word soon came from settlements by the border that a massive hole has appeared in the supposedly impenetrable barrier.

Summary
Getting accepted into a prestigious boarding school seemed like a dream come true for Luz. Especially when her last school had no faith in her ever amounting to anything. But it quickly comes crashing down into a nightmare of tribulation.
Still, there was one thing motivating Luz to keep going: the mystery around the school. Why there always felt like there was always someone around the corner, just hidden from sight. Why some students crept out in the middle of the night once a month. And what the deal with the Head Girl and her vast knowledge of everything in the school was.
Luz was determined to figure it out, no matter what she had to endure.
