Jackie's fingers grow numb, the thin blanket and sputtering fire barely protecting her from the growing cold. She sniffles, shivering, and in the darkness, the first few flurries of snow arrive.
It’ll all be over soon.
However, the small comfort of her impending death is dashed by an annoying intruder; a familiar pink and green rectangle appears floating in front of her eyes, bright enough to ruin her night eyes despite the thing giving off no actual light.

Summary
The Simurgh transports fifteen young capes from Brockton Bay to the loneliest place in the multiverse. Away from the laws of society which guided and shackled them, and with no other company than themselves, will they band together or break when the winter comes?
Taylor will do whatever it takes to protect her friends and stay in control.
Victoria will be the heroine everyone needs, no matter who or what she destroys in the process.
Lisa needs to keep everyone from killing each other, and if she starts a cult along the way, at least it gets the job done.
