Swallows it dry, trying to ignore the pointed way Jasper is staring at his bobbing throat. “I need to get back,” he says. Guy glances at where Jasper’s elbow is currently pushing the door closed. He grimaces. “Please.”

“Oh my god,” Steve says, snapping his suitcase shut. “I’m gonna be fine. Edward Munson is a rich bastard who is looking for an ‘au pair’ for his seven kids. He’s just gonna be some rich old asshole who wants someone else to parent his kids for him.”
“You mean like daddy dearest, but with more children?” Carol snickers.
Steve flips her off even though he agrees. “Exactly like daddy dearest,” he says, “Which is why I’ll be great at this."
